Link between Leadership and Well-Being
Leaders should be aware of the wellbeing of their team, and encouraging their teams to focus on their wellbeing. Additionally leaders should set a good example by looking after their own wellbeing. Focusing on wellbeing and Happiness, the other employee benefits would include:
- Increased productivity
- Increased retention
- Increased morale
- Increased customer satisfaction
- Decreased absenteeism
In order to live happy and successful lives at work, at home and in society we need to cultivate key human qualities such as connection, self-awareness, personal responsibility and inspiration.
When we integrate these human skills within ourselves, we become a more authentic 'whole' human being and leader in all areas of our lives. We give ourselves choice and create a world that those around us want to belong to. Lead Like A Human helps people to bring out the human leader, connecting to themselves, their co-workers and their customers in new and authentic ways. Lead Like A Human is a 3-day business and social leadership programme designed to develop awareness, connection and engagement within organisations. We help people to create space to look at their lives differently and create new connections to their purpose, to others, to the organisation they work for and to society as a whole. The programme harnesses inspiring young people from our youth leadership programme Real Futures to help participants look at their challenges with new perspectives and gain an awareness of different ways of working in the world. The programme can also be linked to the companies corporate social responsibility agenda and work in partnership with their existing charity / community partners.

SUPPORTERS AND SPONSORS
Vegetarian Interest Group, Accenture, UK
VIG, ran within Accenture UK, is far from the usual 'meet and eat' type of social events. In its third year of operation now, the group has broken boundaries on imaginations that tag themselves with vegetarian stereotypes. VIG has provided environmental, musical, spiritual and emotional dimension to its cause, thus taking a holistic approach to a rather disciplinarian routine.
The group aims at raising awareness on lifestyle options and their impact on health and environment. And it's not just preaching, but educating, practicing and adopting such holistic lifestyle which lends VIG a pragmatic appeal.
The group is open to everyone, and being vegetarian is not a prerequisite. We hope to encourage a diverse group of people including vegetarians, vegans and meat eaters towards realizing the benefits of healthy lifestyle and enhancing their own personal potential.
